Image result for macbeth weird sisters

I’ve made the connections to Macbeth a bit more apparent than yesterday’s post.

Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

                            – William Shakespeare (Macbeth)

I’ve forgotten.
A cup of blood or two?
And why harvest

only a newt’s eye?
Wouldn’t its heart and spirit
better spice this brew?

Boiling is best, but upon
what fire dare I set this kettle?
Perhaps flame dancing

on a heap of Birnam’s wood
or the heat rising
from a pool of dragon spit.

And once this charm
is firm and good,
shall I serve you under

a moon’s dim light
or where shine glitters
on a rill of water

trickling near a moss as soft
as a beard stitched
to a dead king’s chin?

Say something!! Please?
