Silver Fire

To sit in the shade
of a mushroom
long enough
to see the sun
cower behind
a roof of clouds,
long enough
to listen to rain
thud against
the soft dome
above me,
to see it blaze
like silver fire
splashing against
the cold stones.

      1. Well of course! It’s just that sometimes reading your poems is more like listening to you tell about your day than reading something “made up.” I find that fascinating because you have a way of taking me into that world with you..

Say something!! Please?
