Silver Birches by a Stream Premium Giclee Print

The Brook, Twisting

The brook,
twisting,
like a lost
shoelace,
through
a glade
of birch,
has begun
to ice
where the water
slicks
the muddy shore
and musk turtles
scrape
their way
into earth's
womb, burrow
where winter's
tooth snaps
with the might
of wishes.
