Taskmaster

It’s 8am. I am by my window, sipping my coffee, having just spent some time with the Lord, in the Word and praying. All is still; yet, how soon the stillness ends. To work!!

Taskmaster

The rusted
rake

leans
on the splintered

shed
where the grass,

tangled
with leaves,

has grown
too tall.

    1. I. Direct treatment of the “thing,” whether subjective or objective.
      II. To use absolutely no word that does not contribute to the presentation.
      III. As regarding rhythm: to compose in sequence of the musical phrase, not in sequence of the metronome.
