The following is taken from a journal recently found in a Slovakian forest, the Little Carpathians. It was found buried with a few other items: a dagger, a chain with a bear-tooth-pendant, and a single coin. All of the items were rolled in a blood-stained-tunic and buried in a small wooden box.
This cold rain…it bites. A thousand tiny fangs slowly sink into your flesh. I’ve no doubt that hell is wet and cold…and I’m in it.
At night, we see the gargoyles. Their pale, yellow eyes…in the darkness between the trees. They could kill us, but I doubt they will. They’re too curious.
It makes me laugh. My greatest shield is the curiosity of a damned ugly beast.
